Ray is one of the best and most professional property managers I have ever met. He always returns my calls quickly, responds to emails the same day and has been very responsive to problems with the unit.

 

In one incident, a water pipe in my neighbor's townhouse burst and sent inches of water into my unit through the common wall. Ray responded the same day I found water coming into my unit. He worked with me, my neighbor, the owner of  the unit, all the insurance companies and the contractors to get the damage repaired.

 

Regarding rental agreements that are mentioned by other posters - I don't know where their comments are coming from. The rental agreement I received was standard and very thorough. Ray spent the time to go into detail with me and answered all my questions.

I've worked with Ray on three separate occasions: 

 

As a renter, where he was property manager.

As an owner, where he found tenants for my income property.

As a buyer, where he represented our best interests.

 

I obviously liked his abilities, otherwise I wouldn't have used his services multiple times.

 

He's extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and experienced.

 

He focuses on the details, and his process ensures a smooth transaction.  I bet the previous reviewers did not read or understand their contracts, and were disappointed when they were unable to bail on the commitments they agreed to.

 

I highly recommend Ray to anyone who's looking for a real estate professional on the Peninsula.

From 2006 to 2010, I rented a condo that Ray manages. Ray did his due diligence before deciding renting the condo to us. In addition to checking credit scores, he personally visited our previous home before signing the contract with us. During the 5-year period, we had three incidents, including an issue with the washing machine, an issue with the shower and a problem with some electric wires on one side of the wall. All the incidents were resolved very quickly and in a truly professional manner. I could reach Ray by telephone any time and emails were always replied within hours. Ray provides exceptional service and handles everything with true professionalism.

Ray is one of the most professional, courteous and detail oriented Property Managers I  have ever worked with.  Nearly 11 years  ago, Ray helped me find the right home for my three children and I who were very young at the time. Ray is one of the most responsible, responsive and respectable businessman I have met. He returns my calls and emails in a timely manner and fixes issues with my rental unit very quickly. In one particular instance, there was a small water leak in the townhouse. Water was not leaking inside the townhouse, but underneath. Ray quickly arranged for a repair company to show up, identify and fix the problem.

Ray was my property manager for a home in the Bay Area that I wanted to rent over 10 years ago now. He did a great job for us, taking care of every detail and advising us on the best course of action. He is very responsive and thinks of everything. I was very happy with his work and found him to be very skilled, knowledgeable and honest. Later I asked Ray to help me find a condo. Again, he did a great job with plenty of great advise based on his years of experience.  I was very pleased with the results. This summer, 2011,  Ray is once again my property manager for a condo that I am leasing out. He assisted me in getting the condo ready and found the tenant and is managing the property. I couldn't be happier.

Ray has been our property manager/Realtor since 1975.  During that time he has managed our rental properties in Foster City and San Mateo.  Along the way, he has sold three of our rentals.  For management, he covers everything, is always responsive keeping us up to date and informed as to progress on maintenance projects, tenant and owner issues.  On sales, he has walked us through the entire process in full detail and covered all phases of the selling process so that we felt very confident in our transaction.  I like doing business with Ray in that he almost answers his phone on the second or third ring.  Relative to e-mails, we always have a personal response within hours.  Phil C Stelling EA PE   650 573-1657

Whenever I contact him, he  returned calls right away. Several days ago, he contacted me regarding a home I have for sale, gave me some great advice, and was extremely helpful. Who does that? There was nothing in it for him, he's just a good person.

Ray DiFruscio is the owner's representative on a condo we've been renting for about 2 years.  During our time here, Ray has been consistently responsive to our inquiries and concerns, and he's been especially swift in getting someone here whenever a repair is needed.  He does not intrude on our privacy.  He has handled every matter that we've brought to his attention in a very professional manner, being reasonable, fair, and honest in his dealings with us.  We appreciate, for example, that he made it clear before we signed anything that the rental agreement contained provisions not found in boilerplate leases, and that he made sure we understood what our responsibilities would be as tenants.  I would not hesitate to recommend him. Ray has been my listing agent for the sale of 3 properties. In addition he has also managed some rental property for me in the past.
Each time I found Ray to be very honest, knowledgeable, pays attention to detail and he kept me informed of good and bad news during the sale process.
He doesn't always tell you just what you want to hear. He tells you, and explains why, what needs to be done to sell your property.
Ray sold each of my properties in a timely manner.
